Capelrig Ltd is a leading independent provider of control & automation systems and services to the global oil & gas, power generation, renewable energy and utility markets.

Background

Capelrig was formed in 1978 and is based in Aberdeen, the oil capital of Europe.

Our design and manufacturing operations are centered on two adjacent buildings (one visible in photograph), comprising modern offices, panel building workshop and separate systems integration and staging facilities for complete automation systems.

Clients include major oil & gas operators, engineering contractors and utility companies such as BP, Shell, Talisman Energy, Wood Group, PSN, Petrofac, Scottish & Southern Energy, Scottish Water, United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority and British Energy.

Of particular note is the Company’s 30-year track record in the offshore oil & gas domain.

The majority of staff are qualified for working offshore, having RGIT safety certification.

Capelrig has been BS EN ISO9001 registered since 1992.
